Connecting with the Enemy presents the first comprehensive history of unprecedented grassroots efforts to forge nonviolent alternatives to the lethal collision of the two national movements. Bringing to light the work of over five hundred groups, the author describes how a diverse cross section of Palestinians and Israelis has spoken truth to power, stood in resistance and solidarity, and advocated for peace and security.

The author, Dr. Sheila H. Katz, is Professor of Middle East History and Contemplative Studies at Berklee College of Music.
