Lethal And Toxic Side Effects of Electroshock Or ECT
17 Jan 2017
As WBUR promotes the electroshock or ECT promotions by Charles Welch, a Boston psychiatrist, there is little discussion of the toxic side effects.
Charles Welch, MD, Jack Nicholson
As psychiatrist Charles Welch takes to the national airwaves (including NPR's WBUR) to promote electroshock (ECT), there is little discussion of the downside.

1. Around the country now, patients and prisoners are being forced in violation of their 1st amendment rights, to take toxic antidepressants. There have been countless instances of forced electroshock.
2. Some who undergo electroshock have substantial memory loss, not only shortterm but
longterm, including childhood memories
3. Immediate side effects can be disorientation, nausea, headache, pain in the jaw, muscle pain,
4. Patients have actually been burned or caught on fire, reminiscent of Edison's demonstration of an electric
chair. The prisoner caught on fire.
5. Convulsions occur without the administration Succinycholine or other drugs.
6. Side effects of succinycholine:
'cardiac arrest, malignant hyperthermia, arrhythmias, bradycardia, tachycardia, hypertension, hypotension, hyperkalemia, prolonged respiratory depression or apnea, increased intraocular pressure, muscle fasciculation, jaw rigidity, postoperative muscle pain, 7. Heart attacks can occur from electroshock
8. Prolonged seizures can occur from electroshock
9. strokes charles welch, md promoter of electroshock

Due to the DSM V and the addition of many worried well illnesses as psychiatrists in other countries define them, 25% of the American population can be defined as mentally ill now. I believe this is due to lobbying by pharmaceutical companies to increase illnesses, ease of diagnosis and have a more consumers for a lengthier time period. $$$$$$$

But, I digress. I thought I had no choice but to enroll into community mental health (Government Mental Health) because that was the only provider that would accept my insurance within an hour drive of my domicile at the time. (I will never make that mistake again).

I was forced into three months of once a month injections of Prolixin that caused severe side effects that I honestly thought would be permanent, as they can be. I confused from head to toe so badly, the doctor called it peudoparkinson syndrome that I was prescribed Cogentin for. It helped slightly. My jaw would still lock, I experienced severe anxiety, the worse restless leg syndrome imaginable, and completely lost my libido. I would have to jump up and down or run around the outside of my house for a minimum of eight hours a day. It was worse than Hell. The doctor refused to adjust my dosage or stop the shots. I would dread each shot. Refusal was useless. The doctor would look at me and a smug smile would spread across her face, "Sit right here, honey, and you will just have to be hospitalized for your refusal." I will never be aggravated with my 3 hour round trip drive to see a price doctor.
