JP Free Skool Needs Organizers (and classes are welcome too!)
09 Jul 2004
************* Please feel free to forward and post widely *************

So about half of the JP Free Skool Organizers have recently left town or are going to soon. We're always open to more organizers; but we could especially use it now. So if you have any interest or know someone who has had any interest in helping organizing, now would be the ideal time to get involved. We're collectively run and have meetings on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Saturday of every month (except we're doing the fifth Saturday this month because of other conflicts). This month's meetings are scheduled for:

Tuesday 13th 7:30pm June Bug Cafe' 403A Centre Street (right near the Milky Way and Bella Luna)

Saturday July 31st 2:00pm June Bug Cafe' 403A Centre Street

You can also call 617-522-8277, e-mail jpfreeskool (at) riseup.net, or drop by the Lucy Parsons Center any Sunday 6pm-9pm, Monday 6pm-9pm or Friday 12pm-3pm and talk to the person at the front desk about getting involved. (For Mondays, you might want to call ahead of time to make sure that the person doing the shift isn't busy with another project at the time). Also, you can check out our website: jpfreeskool.org.

Oh and although we are doing a special call out for organizers, we could always use classes, teach-ins or workshops of any kind. You don't have to have any special skills or knowledge (though you could of course) to be a teacher/ facilitator for the free skool. For example, you could just help get a study group together on a subject you want to talk and learn about with others.
