Time to settle on a name for these abominations |
I have heard the enclosures described as "Free Speech Zones", "Protest Zones", "First Amendment Zones", "Cages", "Pens", "Kennels"
"Jails"......... We need to settle on a name.
Its obvious this enclosure would not have been set up without the approval of Kerry, a home state Senator and the presumptive nominee.
Sp lets give the devil his doo-doo. Lets use the generic name from now on.
Let's call them "Kerry Pens". |

I have heard it called Thunderdome. I found that to be appropriate. Calling any of this a democratic process takes a lot of nerve. The rhetoric and lies are stifling. It will be indistinguishable regardless of the outcome of the election. We have gone backwards. By that I am talking about a number of things. The complete erosion of our civil liberties, censorship, racial profiling, the federal & local levels of oppression that has become part of our daily lives to list a few. Our health and educational systems are an abomination. The democrats do not deserve to call themselves so. I do not believe in a two-party system. The better of two evils is not good enough for me nor should it be for anyone else. I have only one question...when can "we the people" expect sincere & positive changes that will truly benefit everyone? |

From what I recall, the first time this tactic was used was at the 2000 DNC. How about "Gore Pens?" Someone had spray painted "Checkpoint Charlie" on the concrete there. |
