CNN doesn't give a sh** about you!
29 Jul 2004
It looks like CNN has taken a quick break from demonizing protesters and decided to ignore them.

This article talks about the security at the DNC. It talks about how the delegates aren't complaining about the heightened security being an inconvenience. Well that's no surprise--the delegates aren't the ones being fenced in like concentration camp prisoners! Only once does this article mention protesters, and I don't know if the conditions of the Protest Pen are detailed anywhere on CNN.

Bork and I, part of the Bi Partisan Party Crashers affinity group, managed to "aquire" passes to the fleet center. Wearing class drag from Good Will, we sat ourselves at the West Virginia section right next to CNN. When the cameras went on we moved in front of CNN on the Convention floor, unfurled our banners, and yelled our slogans.

CNN turned off the cameras. If you don't have corporatre backing, as far as CNN is concerned, you don't exist. We did have other press all over us and had an interview explaining Anarchism and why we were their with a national radio host, Mike Gallahger.

For them it's all about the money, for us it's all about the people.
