Suggestion to stop abuse of the newswire.

Boston IndyMedia is being used by a smear campaign. The motivation for the campaign is well understood as Cyber Stalking:

http://www.cyber-stalking.net

Cyber Stalkers need a means of anonymous publishing to conduct their stalking activities. You can tell who is and who is not a cyber stalker (generally speaking) by determining whether the person associates his or her name with his or her publications. Only one party involved in the harassment of Boston IndyMedia seeks to be anonymous. The other party has a website in his own name and publishes on that website everything he publishes so as to make the authorship clear.

Denying the cyber stalker(s) use of Boston IndyMedia as a tool for stalking required deleting their posts quickly. We realize that Boston IndyMedia is a collective of volunteers and cannot monitor the newswire 24/7. However, we request that all posts related to this cyber stalking campaign be deleted (or hidden) ASAP.
They're doing the best they can

As near as I can tell from observing the newswire, the editors are shoveling the crap out as soon as they recognize it.

Please try to remember that not only is the wire not staffed 24/7, but the new theme acted as a change-up pitch as well.

There's nothing inherently unusual about a headline calling for a boycott or protest on an Indymedia site, and it's likely to take a bit of time for an editor to go from "who the Hell is Poirier Sales and why should anyone want to boycott them?" to figuring out "Oh shit, it's those assholes again. "
Hmmm. I wonder what Computers NLA would have to say about that?

Didnt you do the EXACT SAME THING to some computer store in California? In fact, your handiwork is still on several Indymedia sites. No, I think its time for you to see what its like.
