P&G Global Day general meeting: this Saturday
July 7th - University of Cincinnati campus
McMicken Hall, Rm. 147, 6pm.-9pm.
(McMicken Hall's along Clifton Ave.)

Our updated Call below - ADLCincy

The Animal Defense League of Cincinnati is sponsoring a public protest to be held on Saturday July 14th to coincide with In Defense of Animals and Uncaged of England campaigns against Procter and Gamble and their use of animals to test P&G products and innovations.

Procter & Gamble have been at the forefront of animal activists since the 1990's only to be given the run around by the company. The company say they are changing but continue testing on animals. Procter & Gamble have even gone so far as to privatize more of their research after a video release of monkeys being handled appallingly at HLS, at the time a P&G contracted lab. These animals are bred and/or stolen, caged, injected, chemically burnt, cut open whilst alive, then disposed of in an incinerator at the Health Care Research Center in Mason, Ohio.

Come join hundreds of activists in a large public protest to be visible to the people of the world on this Global Day of Action Against Procter & Gamble in the city where it all started- Cincinnati, Ohio.

An action is planned for later in the day by another organization, RARA- (the) Radical Animal Rights Army. Who are they? What will they be doing? The action will take place outside of the Fountain Square, 11am. protests...with a slogan, "The Animals Fight Back!!"

Street medics will be on hand in case of need. Food Not Bombs Cincinnati will be providing vegan food free to activists. We will assure that travelers be given a place to stay for the day of Action.

The Cincy Animal Defense League and a combination of several animal, earth and anti-rascist groups have formed a solidarity for a weekend of action to take place on the 13th, 14th & 15th. We have combined to protest against three social ills in Cincinnati on this weekend: a hate group rally(the 13th - noon, Fountain Square?), Procter & Gamble and their animal testing(the 14th) and Plan Colombia(the 15th). For more information on this and on attending, contact us below.

Thanks and see you in July,
Cincinnati Animal Defense League
