Songs of Solidarity

Evan Greer's new CD, "Songs of Solidarity" kicks ass!!!
Click on image for a larger version

Evan Greer has a fairly new CD out entitled "Songs of Solidarity." The music is simple acoustic guitar and singing, with backup vocals from Emily & Jodee Gentile. Perhaps that may sound dull to some, but what this disc lacks in fancy frills it more than makes up for in soul. The lyrics are profound humanity pouring out the angst of just trying to survive. This album reminds you that it is within everyone’s power to make the world a better place. It doesn’t matter which side of the spectrum you come from as long as you're willing to communicate with others, which means sharing as well as listening. This isn't preachy left-wing rhetoric or mushy liberal sentiment; this is what it feels like to give a shit and have the heart to say it.
I don't work for Evan or even know him. I have written this review to show my respect for what he is trying to do. His CD is available at Lucy Parsons center (I don't work there either), and for FREE at
Do the world a favor get this music.
