Prophecy Dec. 5 : Poker Face
05 Dec 2004
Sometimes that has been known to work...
That George Bush really has been making me mad the last few days, with what I perceived as his arrogant display of stubborn not to mention reckless persistence. But when you consider that this is a poker game, and you remember what he has riding in the pot, then I suppose it is understandable that he would try to pull a stunt like this. For people have been known to win at poker by adopting a good poker face and then bluffing, even when they have been dealt a bad hand, and as I have been trying to tell you people, he is bluffing because he just doesn't have the cards, and he knows it.

That Wall Street Stock Market really knows how to put on a good poker face as well, which leads me to ask the following question. Now let us suppose that someone was known to be peddling hot goods, as one example, Iraq's stolen state assets which were (quote)privatized(endquote) when Iraq was (quote)neo-liberalized(endquote). Now one must assume that Iraq's hot goods is where some (quote)investor(endquote) would want to sink some of their 'risk capital' in the hopes of raking in the really huge returns later, after that 'Crushing the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising' war crimes technique is used on Iraq a few more times to settle the place down so that it can really be pillaged and sacked real good. Now if we assume that such hot goods are also being traded it leads one to wonder if there is anyone stupid enough to buy such hot goods in the first place, and if they should decide to unload them onto someone else, would there be anyone else stupid enough to wind up getting burned by purchasing that hot merchandise only to be taken to the cleaners later when caught red handed with that stolen marchandise, not to mention facing the additional charges and doing any additional time one would expect someone to do when they are caught red handed involved in some conspiracy to move stolen goods.

But then I would suppose that some people really enjoy a good game of poker, or maybe they don't enjoy it as much, but feel they have to keep playing now that the pot has grown, or it could be the case that some people really believe that sometimes you really can win at poker by bluffing, even when your opponent knows that you don't have the cards.

By the way a few days ago I got angry at some people for their 'bad faith' and I regret it, since having thought it over I realize that there is nothing more terrifying than having faith and then being ruthlessly crushed and disappointed later, thus making a pre-emptive strike against good faith a self protection strategy...

You might be asking yourself, 'How long', and I would reply, 'Not long'. This is poker after all, not an extended game of torture the faith...And I am hoping to have a very merry Christmas season this year, on the theory that it is better to have a very merry Christmas than to not have one, and I also have a birthday coming up on December 14, and this has got me thinking that I might have a very merry birthday and a very merry Christmas both at the same time...And I am not trying to brag here by talking about my birthday, it is just that I was thinking well if someone likes you, sometimes you get presents, and I have been rolling the idea around in my mind and it seems quite possible...But in any case, how long is not long, since a court order has already been sent out, you see, and not from me, as those secret agents doing that audio surveillance could testify, if anyone would allow them to testify, as I explained before, and so far that court order has not been followed, and the court is known to be quite strict about having those court orders followed, and thus will most certainly be sending a cop to see to it that this court order is followed, lest the reputation of the court should be tarnished...Therefore, it takes only a small amount of faith for me to stay that 'how long' is 'not long' and therefore it is only a matter of time...
