19 Dec 2004
Our first night out for the 2004 holiday season was a success.

We were able to engage in many dialogues with peoples, subverse shopping, and hand out songbooks for others to use on their own. Many people from the malls and street picked up a song book and joined us.

You too can join us as we go caroling again next week. We will meet up at 14 Lopez St. in Central Square, Cambridge at 6:00 pm on Thursday the 23rd. You can print out a song book from (under propaganda section). We also have a few extras.

Below are a few photos of this merry evening. Hope to see you all next week.

Re: Radical Caroling - Photos and Reportback

it was quite a good time, there were just under 20 of us. at one point we attempted to carol on a platform at the foodcourt at the mall, but before we could begin a security guard forced us to get off the stage. he told us we could not carol in the mall- I always knew cops hated Christmas. after proclaiming him a grinch for all to hear, we walked out of the mall, but on our way we sang Frosty the Snowman, though he tried to make us stop. Then we caroled outside of the Gap and Niketown on Newbury Street, and later walked down the street to carol next to Starbucks. A great time was had and I encourage everyone to come nexy Thursday!
(Pete, please blur face on the far right of the last picture, thanks!)

i didnt see this carolling, but i was at downtown crossing and i saw the socialist people with their table and newspapers. What the hell is wrong with the socialists? I know they dont really get along with the A people, but maybe they could use some of their tactics. I walked by the socialists a few times and not once was i approached by them, or actually even saw what was on their table because they were all huddled around it with their backs to the street. You should put less effort into your newspapers and more with thinking about new ideas. Im not an anarchist but i definately think that they are better organized and have more charisma then the socialists. Just two questions.
Why do anarchists dress the way they do?
and, Can you be an anarchists and not dress like that?

Fear not, you don't have to dress any way in particular to be an anarchist. In fact, many of dress quite plainly.
