And the World Social Forum has never ended poverty either, nor does it stand a snowball's chance in hell. On the contrary, it advocates against the one thing that will end poverty - namely a world economy that employs millions in third world countries. Multinational corporations bring jobs to those who would otherwise know nothing but poverty. It is easy to sit here on the computer and bash the so called rich. Don't forget...if you have a computer to write these articles, you are rich by third world standards and a hypocrite. Instead of sitting in your ivory tower, you should join the peace corps or some other organization that actually helps those less fortunate. Better yet, why not sell it all and live amongst the poor. My guess is that you will be running home rather quickly. |
