On a lighter note...Join the newly appointed Somerville Bicycle Committee on a short bike tour of the city, this Saturday morning, and find out what's going on in local bike politics. |
It's the 9th. Annual Tour de Somerville
Saturday, October 13
10am, at Seven Hills Park in Davis Square
(behind the Somerville Theatre and the T station)
(heavy) rain date: Sunday, October 14
........................................................
Join us for a free fun bike ride from West to East and back again. Explore bike-able Somerville from two wheels: interesting architecture, some history, even some leaf-peeping, plus the route of the proposed Community Path extension to Boston. And at the mid-point... refreshments courtesy of Redbones!
The Tour is an all ages event, and lasts about 3 hours... helmets are encouraged. Arrive early for a free bike checkup by Park Sales bicycle shop.

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.
