WEEI'S morning show goes further into the realm of demagoguery
The Dennis and Callahan show on WEEI (850 AM) in Boston, which airs from 6 to 10 AM, is becoming a repository of extreme-right wing hate talk from the hosts. Gerry Callahan, in particular, has been engaging in a non-stop tirade of anti-Arab racism--one comment this morning (O11), to paraphrase, is "why do they have to wear those things on their heads anyway. Listen in and, if you're as pissed as I am, here are their INSIDE phone numbers to leave your comments...

Gerry Callahan: 617-779-3532
John Dennis: 617-779-3531

Callahan also has a public guestbook for his column at the Boston Herald. Here's the URL...

Mr. Calahan

I finally stopped listening to the morning show on WEEI a few weeks back. I couldn't listen to that much garbage without putting my own pacifist beliefs in jepardy. I would suggest to Mr. Callahan that if he wants to know the answer to the question. "Why do they hate us"? That all he needs to do is look in the mirror.

I could not agree more about Gerry Callahan's racism against Arabic people. He is mentally unhealthy. I also stopped listening to the morning show several months ago after the Abu Graib news. It won't reach my ears anymore.
