Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.

Peace, Not Stalinism! |

I am against this horrible war and everything the Bush government is currently doing, but, having lived through the Soviet brutality as a child in Czechoslovkia, I cannot with any sort of clear conscious support the work of groups such as the 'International ANSWER' coalition. They are a Workers' World Party (WWP) front group through and through. This group has supported the suppression of popular democratic socialist movements in Hungary and Czechoslovakia by Soviet coups. They supported brutal dictators in Romania, Serbia, and Iraq. They should not be supported by the peace movement. |

Where is your proof for what you say? The IAC has only existed since 1992. Where is your documentation?
This "commie" name-calling has been attempted in the DC press, too.
It is only too easy and convenient to try and discredit the one organization that is currently able to draw 25,000, 40,000, 50,000 people to the streets to protest this immoral war against Afghanistan. We need I-ANSWER!!
Sisters and brothers, listen to your hearts and your values ... and take to the streets to oppose war and racism! |
