Hahahahah it turns out that stop the nazis was actually an ANSWER front!!! HAHAH

ahahaha fuck answer man. what right have they to yell at nazis? fucking stalinists!
Re: Pictures from May 8 Anti-Nazi Protest

just cause answer folks put out a call and took some pictures doesnt mean the whole thing was their front. I agree that they tend to co-opt a lot of things, like by putting out a call for something that numerous groups have already called out but there were a lot of people that organized for this autonomously of ANSWER or any other group of the sort.

The coalition meetings that led into "Stop the Nazis" were originally called by the ISO and I was pretty impressed (in an abstract sense) by how non-sectarian the ISO was. The big meeting last week had reps from the ISO, SWP, PLP, Sparts, and WWP and one of their front groups. There was the expected bickering but no serious sectarian drama. There were also anarchists present, in a supporting/observing role, and liberals, and Alliance for Secular & Democratic South Asia people, and a few zionists, and probably other groups I don't remember. Anti-fascism is a broad, broad tent, for better or for worse.

I'm also pretty sure Northeast Antifascists, which is a solidly anarchist group as far as I know, put out the first call for a protest. There was also an independent "youth bloc" call out there. And a lot of people who showed up weren't following any kind of call, except the "call" of their own brains that told them fascists need to be run the fuck out of town. For whatever reason (they need to report these things to the home planet?) the IAC felt compelled to put out their own call once things were in full swing. Whatever, we got lots of people out on the streets, it was boring, it was cold, the cops hit some people and carpooled with the white supremacists, end of story.
The ISO ??

The ISO ?? Oh, you mean the "Mary Kay" of activists, that ISO. How many papers did they sell at the rally ? Non-sectarian ?? They're a f*ckin cult !!!!

zionists aren't anti-fascists.
they are fascists who are against certain other fascists.

how about the fact that people joined together to confront

"no free speech for nazis!" agreed! however; no violence as the solution in confronting them.

I just looked at picture number 078. It looks like "crowd waving communist flag and woman in hijab shout obscenities at police officers.

Picture number 083 looks like "a crowd." Picture number 116 looks like "in spite of unruly mob heavy police presence prevents riot."
