30 Oct 2001
Tuesday, November 6, at 7:30 pm, class Acts theater troupe will host a new member orientation. All interested in any aspect of making political street theater are invited to come!
Want a chance to work on political issues that matter to you, while being creative?
Want to work with other creative activists in a friendly, supportive environment?

Join Class Acts Theater Troupe!

Tuesday, November 6, 2001, 7:30 PM
1815 Massachusetts Avenue (Porter Exchange Building in Porter Square) Room 403

Come to our New Member Orientation! Actors, musicians, artists, activists, and everyone else welcome. This is not an audition--just a chance for prospective new members to meet the troupe and find out about getting involved.

Class Acts is an independent theater troupe in the Boston area that performs at demonstrations, conferences, and on the street and in other public spaces. We tackle issues of social, economic, and environmental justice while working to break down barriers between art and politics. Our material is both funny and serious (though more funny), and we perform traditional-style skits as well as more interactive forms of theater. We seek to be a space for artistic expression and growth where people can share their talents and develop new skills. Please join us!
