Sign the Petition: Justice for Julio Ayala!

Sign Petition Demanding Justice For Julio Ayala & His

This past April 3, thirteen South San Francisco (SSF)
cops murdered Julio Ayala, an unarmed 26 year old
Salvadoran man and legal U.S. resident. On behalf of
the Ayala family, the Idriss Stelley Foundation
launched the Justice4Julio Campaign and has held
several protests. They will attend the San Mateo Board
of Supervisors meeting on June 21 and make the demands
listed below. They are asking that everyone sign their
petition at

The Ayala family was not authorized to view Julio’s
body until its transfer to a funeral parlor 4 days
after his death! Their plea for any information around
what happened to their son at the hands of SSF PD has
remained totally unanswered.

In public comments to be presented to the San Mateo
Board Of Supervisors, the following demands will be
presented for their strong consideration:

* Immediate reports from SSF PD, DA, Coroner,
paramedics and Fire Dept on
Julio Ayala's homicide
* Immediate launching of an independent FBI
* Publication of 911 dispatching tape related to SSF
PD killing of Julio Ayala
* Justice4JulioAyala, NOW !

Amnesty International is getting involved, as well as
the Salvadoran Consulate and Salvadoran corporate
Press. The Ayala family, (in collaboration with Idriss
Stelley Foundation, Tierra Insurgente, Barrio Defense,
SF Coleman Advocate/La Raza Legal Center/SF Carecen,
October 22 against Police Brutality Coalition, Bay
Area End Police Brutality Network, Action Center For
Justice and a number of Latino and general community
organizations as well as local and international
community media) will pursue all legal means to obtain
justice for their son!
We urge the San Mateo Board Of Supervisors to impress
upon City and County San Mateo appointed officials to
expedite the public release of all information
pertaining to The Julio Ayala case. We trust that the
Board Of Supervisors will demonstrate their genuine
care and concern for the safety of our community at
risk of racial oppression by taking immediate action
following the Board hearing on 6-21-05.
