I don’t know who to despise more… Phelps and his homophobic extremists or Chris Haire and his rampant nihilism. At least Phelps believes in something – the author on the other hand seems completely devoid of any deeper direction or meaning in his writing. Further his vicious lashing out at the unfortunate children of extremists is inexcusable.
I’m told that he went “undercover” as a homeless man – which is not hard to do when you’re living off paychecks from the Dig – a paper which was started by semi-literate vagrants and collects most of its advertising revenue from prostitution rings and “head” shops.
Haire’s writing is further proof that the mainstream media in this country is completely morally bankrupt and in need of a serious reconstitution. When the revolution comes these scum will be the first with their back up against the wall.
Maybe someone should forward this piece to Mr. Phelps and his organization – I’m sure they like to read how some yuppie Boston writer with manicured nails and a predilection for soy-latte enemas is committing libel against their underage members. Haire is just one or two pieces away from a brick through his window or a sack of sugar in his gas tank… or worse. |
