Grenada PM Concludes His Visit to China
Beijing, jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Grenada Prime Minister Keith Mitchell left Shanghai Monday after a five-day oficial visit to China, where he held talks with Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and Vice President Zeng Qinghong in Beijing, and signed several cooperation agreements.

China and Grenada resumed diplomatic ties last January.

The Caribbean head of government stressed his hopes of an expansion of bilateral links in trade, investment and tourism.

Kitchell travelled also to Guizhou province, in the southwest part of China, where he observed the experience about poverty reduction.

Guizhou provincial governor, Shi Xiushi, explained the progress made in that region in fighting poverty, reducing it from 10 million to 3 million, out of 17 million inhabitants.
