Aug 21, 5:00 PM - 10:01 PM JOIN SCHWARZENEGGER PROTEST AT ROLLONG STONES CONCERT
The Gov.of California will be hosting a fund raiser during the kick off of the Rolling Stones Concert Tour in section B4 of the Park. This was donated by Ameriquest Mortgage Co., one of the gov.'s biggest supporters and one of the tours sponsors. The guest list will include Mass.'s biggest corporations and most devoted Republi-can supporters who are paying $100 for a ticket. |
The money raised is going to Arnold's campaign chest while he cuts school funding, attacks nurses and other union members, subsidizes drug companies and restricts choice/privacy rights.
Join California Nurses, Fire Fighters and Teachers for this event!!

Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. And what, pray, does Sir Michael Jagger have to say about this? ...does he still warble "Street Fighting Man", or did he change the lyrics? |

He got plenty of free advertisement for the tour, by writing a timid piece swiping Bush. [Yawn] One multimillionaire senior citizen railing against another. Too bad he wasn't 'a bit worried' three years ago when it would have been a courageous statement that might have made a difference. As it stands now, it is one more instance of shameless self promotion.
By the way, haven't you heard...the Stones are back on tour! Big fucking deal... |
