This is a quick reminder about tomorrow's protests: IJ Fox at 12 and a media protest at Novartis at 2. This is a very important lineup, so if you could make a special effort to attend this week and get our voices heard, we could make a good impact for the animals at HLS and victims of fur farming.
TOMORROW, Saturday, Sep 3
12pm - IJ Fox
116 Huntington Ave
IJ Fox protest & SPECIAL Media event at Novartis Labs
Don't miss out on this Saturday's double header. First we're meeting up at IJ Fox (116 Huntington Ave) for our regular Fur protest in front of the
store - rescheduled for 12 noon on Saturday. Since IJ Fox deals exclusively with Fur, customers here are shopping directly for murder. We come to inform them of the cruelty and murder involved in the fur trade, and make sure they NEVER come back again!
IJ Fox is a high-end, small store chain that sells fur only. IJ Fox has been in operation for over 75 years selling the silent slaughter.
IJ Fox predominantly sells Fox fur. Foxes bred for fur are raised on factory farms in tiny, filthy wire cages. Many of these foxes live for years in
hideous conditions before farmers kill them and sell their fur to make coats, cuffs, collars, and trim. Others are caught in steel-jaw leghold traps, which
crush their legs until trappers arrive to beat them to death hours or days later.
THEN, a special MEDIA EVENT at NOVARTIS
2pm - Novartis Labs
757 Massachusettes Ave
Corner of Lansdowne and Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA
Local media outlets have been contacted for this Novartis demo, so it's important we get out as many people as we can to issue their disgust at the
Novartis Labs outsources its product testing to the vivisector Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS). HLS, located in England and New Jersey, tests on many
different animals, including mice, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Five undercover investigations have uncovered atrocious and illegal animal abuses committed by HLS employees. HLS employees have been caught punching and shaking four month old beagle puppies, being inebriated at work, performing dissections on a live monkey, falsifying scientific data, and breaking a number of other
laws. Hundreds of animals die each day for HLS' pseudo science.
