Fox News Reporters Break Rank in New Orleans
05 Sep 2005
Reporters Shepard Smith and Geraldo Rivera break down and refuse to tow the fox news line.
unknown media
Geraldo and Shepard Smith appeared on Hannity and Colmes and both reporters lambast Hannity, the government's response and break down emotionally. This is the first time I can remember seeing so many reporters break down and no longer carry on the regular response.

I want to congratulate Shep Smith and Geraldo, they were there seeing everything and Hamley and O'Reilly wasn't, but they acted like they knew it all and didn't have manners enough to hear these guys out. If O'Reilly would listen more, he might learn something, but he never shuts up. It was so good to watch Smith & Geraldo, they were very very good. The others could take some lessons from them.

The first time that I had respect for Fox News was when I heard Sheppard Smith talk about "reality" in New Orleans, and Later Heraldo. Fox News is so very "unbalanced" (in many ways). These men are Fox Heros. They are true reporters. Even the police could not take the stress. Fox News is a disgrace if they indeed did fire these men. I did not watch it before Katrina and will not watch it now!
