----
THE CAMPAIGN TO CLOSE HLS:

After three undercover investigations that exposed the lab for sloppy science and animal cruelty, Huntingdon Life Science was weak and financially unstable. Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) was formed
in the winter of 1999 to finish the job and close HLS for good.

One year after the intense campaign began in the UK and two exposes of the lab later, HLS was on the verge of foreclosure. They were financially ruined as major investor after major investor pulled out of HLS. The lab was saved in January 2001 by Stephen's Inc, a Little Rock based investment firm that shelled out 33 million dollars to keep the lab open.

It has been two years since the intense campaign to close HLS began. Countless more investors and others in the financial world have abandoned HLS. Roughly 300 activists made the journey to Little Rock to
show Stephen's on their own turf that IT DOES NOT END UNTIL HLS IS CLOSED.

See the video. Hear what works and what you can do. Take action and SMASH HLS!
