Although it takes determination, discipline, and commitment to excel in the world of pugilist sports, boxing should not be glorified. Instead, it should be discouraged because it is a sport that is incredibly violent and exploitive towards the poorest members of society. I, for one, do not get pleasure from watching two exploited persons beating the shit out of each and other in an attempt to better themselves. |
