Greenpeace Goes Diesel

Revealing photos from Greenpeace's "Solar-powered" Ark

A few days before the start of the UNFCCC -- the UN Conference on Global Climate Change -- I caught those little Greenpeace buggers powering their "solar-powered" ark with a Diesel Generator! It was only in place until the conference started, when they finally got the power line run into the main convention hall; then it “disappeared”.

Later in the week, I asked them what the power line was for, and they had the nerve to tell me that it was for transferring the excess solar power generated by their panel into the conference! What Bastards!

"Oh, look at us! Aren't we environmentally-friendly?!"

Yeah, but I can see something strange making loud sputtering noises behind your Ark.

Over on the left, you see the very large (and apparently totally ineffective) solar panel. But on the right, what's that?

That's pretty funny.

I was into solar power when I lived in Arizona and I can tell you, there is not enough surface area on top of that thing to do much in the way of generating excess power for a conference.

How many innocent trees had to die to make that silly Ark?

funny; yah but really who cares if they used a diesel generator for a few minutes or days whatever.

Why dont you take a few shots at the polluters inside the conference?
Jeesh wonder why we cant get a movement together in this miserable country.
