Palestinian Police slaughter 2 international observers
26 Mar 2002
Modified: 30 Mar 2002
Ozaslan told Israel Radio that he clearly saw the attacker. He said that the man was armed in fatigues of the PA's security forces and was carrying an AK-47 assault rifle.

"We shouted that we are observers, members of TIPH," he said. "But he did not hear us and continued to shoot."
The shooting near Hebron occured at approximately 8:30 P.M., west of the Halhul bridge. Three members of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) were riding westward on the Trans-Judea highway when they came under fire from short range.

The two dead are Major Cengiz Soytunc, of Turkey, and Katrine Brooks, a Swiss citizen. The injured man is Captain Huseyin Ozaslan, also Turkish. The injured observer suffered light wounds and was evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

He added that the gunman "emptied a whole magazine" into their car.

IDF sources said that the shooting occured from a southerly direction, inside territory controlled by the Palestinian Authority.

Shortly after the incident, shots were fired against an IDF position nearby. No soldiers were injured and the force returned fire.

I do not condone the violence of the palestinians, however the Israelis stole land form a people who have lived there for a long time.
You can not invade a country, occupy all territories and then claim the original inhabbitants are wrong. If it weren't for the Brits and Americans oil interests the Jews would never have "reclaimed" their "holy land".
How can the jews bulldoze homes and kill people and in the same breath get upset when the Palestinians fight back.
It is their land, you stole it, go back to Europe and Florida. You are only doing what the Nazis did to you.
You have your own private ghettos now. Your death squads and unjust laws relating to uprooting palestinians from their farm lands, denying them rights to go to your colleges.
You are hipocrytes and you are not the chosen people.

If you think the Jews are going to leave you have another thing coming to you. It's peaceful co-existence and two states on the land or the Arabs are going to die in large numbers. Which do you choose?
arabs outnumber filthy jews

obviously you haven't been paying attention, the arab league is so close to pushing the jews into the mediterrainian sea it isnt funny.
Israel is stolen property, no one in the region wanted them there and besides that why would you do that to your own people, sit on a hill that isn't yours and ride an edge of complete danger.
Pack up and go back to florida,
can't wait for the right of return when 3 million palestinians go marching through old dirty jerusalem
