Defend Sudan Rally in Cambridge, report and photo.
17 Apr 2006
Modified: 06:34:05 AM
A few anti racist activists protested a zionist fundraiser for the invade Sudan effort that has been putting heavy pressure on the US and UN for overt military action. Deviously disguising their plot as huminitarian concern the US and Tel Aviv based Zionists (who could care less for human life that gets in their eretz way) have been relentlessly targeting the african nations arab speaking government for termination.

With the old bag of dirty colonial tricks, including arming and training blood thirsty factions, fuleing racial and religious hatred, and barbaric seigies and bombardments the zionists have launched a massive foward offensive to carve up and dismember Sudan just as they have Iraq, Afganistan, and Palestine.

We were met with shocked queeries from concert goers of "are you joking?" and chants of "Israel forever! Israel forever!"

One guy walked up and said proudly "I am a zionist".

A few young Jewish kids asked angerly "what about the genocide?" We gave them some liturature but they still had difficulty grasping the reality that they were hemoraging victims of propaganda.

We marveled at the zionists insidious cooption of the mass killings in Rawanda as a promotional tool to push their military objectives.

Its going to take a miricle to save Sudan from overthrow and Zionist financed neo liberal liquidation.

Are you it?

I'm very skeptical of US motives in Darfur, and I do think that some Arab-bashers have manipulated the issue for anti-Arab propaganda, focusing on Arab Muslims attacking Black Christians.

But thousands of people ARE dying. Do you deny that? If you deny it, on what grounds? If you don't deny it, then how do you justify your opposition to intervention, particularly if that intervention comes from the UN as opposed to the US?

(And I'm not even getting into the "Zionist UN" claim--I don't think that it holds up, but I'm more interested in hearing your response to the material reality of people dying than a theoretical debate about who controls the UN.)

in all due respect what makes you think me and my brother (mike) are zionists? and i would like to know how you came to the conclusion that we are jewish?

As I pointed out to people, there are tens of thousands of people getting killed right here in the US every year, I think Michel More put the number from gunshots alone at over 10 grand. that doesnt give anyone the right to invade my home, over throw the government, kill tens of thousands of more people and divy up the oil and minerals from under our dying bodies.

The tragedy in the Sudan is a major concern of all leading civil rights and religious organizations. It is breathtaking that a genuine example of ethnic cleansing of black africans is treated cavalierly by so-called activists. One can sympathize with both Arab and Black African refugees and violence victims. the government of Sudan is a clerical fascist regime. what injuies the black civilians have imposed on the Arab majority to warrant random murder, rape and deliberate dislocation, I do not know. I am not accusing anyone of racism, but there does seem to be selective sypmpathy by a few here for Arab refugees versus black refugees.

I have elsewhere called for greater senstitivity by the US Left in Massachusettls for black American problems in the context of immigration. I ask the same for the helpless, literally brutalized tribespeople of Darfur.

If anyone would like a broad range of websites to check out the seriousness of the persecutiion of these black people, please respond, and I will post sources.

Rock head just illustrated some of the zionists primary psychological and social tools for the invasion, over throw and take over of the African Sudan thru the Daufur door.

1. create the appearance of a main stream demand for action (with lots of cash, pressure and chatter.)

2. divert attention from the zionist full speed ethnic cleansing of Palestine and genocide of Arabs in Iraq and transfer the language of their crimes onto their next victims

3. conceal their motives by feign concern for blacks in America and in Africa

4. Create artificial differences in Africans much the same way that the British created the differences between the Hutus and the Tutsis.

5. Incite African American fear and hatred of Arabs and Arabic speakers. recruit local preachers and politicians to help. Create high gloss NGO humanitarian groups to bombard the social sphere with demands for military troops.

6. Slur and defame Muslims and anyone who opposes the Jewish only state in Palestine.

7. Create divisions between Christian and Muslims world wide and arm them both with Israeli made or shipped weapons and ammunition.

8. Call anyone who opposes racists zionists aggression racists by saying "I am not accusing anyone of racism, but.."

The problem is documeted assaults on the tribes of Western Sudan by government sponsored militias. The question has nothing to do with zionism. Criticize zionism. Criticize all racism.

Any website of any major religion will inform readers about the issue. You may wish to begin however with a respected, secular human rights organization, Human Rights Watch. HRW regularly criticizes the Israeli and American governments for human rights violations. It has no corporate or religious ax to grind. Please refer to www.hrw.org. You will not turn into a Zionist, or a Hamas member. You may however be informed and wish to join the vast majority of the world in expressing your concern about Sudanese cruelty.

condeleeza does not care about this if you hadn't noticed. neither does john bolton. you are just spouting the same things you said last night. you have a very small amount of backing to your theories and you use them over and over again. if the us government cared they would do something. they do not care.

Noah is Right. US Governent talks a lot about this but doesn't want to offend Sudan because of War on Terrorism. I've heard it said that there's too much made of Jewish Holocaust; well here's a Black Holocaust. What will we do? No one can say we didn't know.

This article is anti-semitic: "With the old bag of dirty colonial tricks, including arming and training blood thirsty factions, fuleing racial and religious hatred, and barbaric seigies and bombardments the zionists have launched a massive foward offensive to carve up and dismember Sudan just as they have Iraq, Afganistan, and Palestine." That reads like something out of the Turner Diaries.

Are you saying Israel, or "the Jews," are arming the Janjaweed militia? You're serious? Also, other than in your paranoid fantasies, why would Zionists even want to overthrow the government of Sudan? You would think your "US and Tel Aviv based Zionists" would have other priorities. Also, "their eretz way" - blatantly antisemitic, and implies you think the Zionists want to incorporate Sudan in the State of Israel. You're nuts!
Re: Defend Sudan Rally in Cambridge, report and photo.

Zionists want to overthrow the Sudan in order to knock out the muslim countries around their sphere of influence.
Re: Defend Sudan Rally in Cambridge, report and photo.
17 Apr 2006
So Sudan is in Israel's "sphere of influence," is it? And you know that how? And Sudan is not only an enemy of Israel, but enough of a threat that "Zionists" are actively seeking to overthrow the Sudanese government? Surely you have proof of these things, otherwise you wouldn't say them. Riiiight....

The way zionists are screwing up this thread with personal attacks indicates how scared they are of what this post gets to the heart of.

Sudan is clearly being targeted my a major campaine thats got only a few vocal, motivated, and well financed power brokers.

I forgot to say "preachers, teachers and politicans.." plus packs of street and internet enforcers.

Its important to remember that zionists do not stop or forget. Many Sudanes came to the side of people in Palestine when Jewish terror gangs were rampaging at the begining of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

Here is a piece worth reading about the abuse of the international discourse on "human rights" and "genocide" in order to justify US, European, and Israeli imperial designs in Sudan:

http://www.freearabvoice.org/articles/DarfurTheNewAmericanFrenchProtecto

People on this thread who are skeptical about zionist regional designs should read the extensive literature written by Israeli generals and political leaders. A good place to start is Oded Yinon's "A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties." It sketches out a plan for breaking up "the Arab Moslem world" into small ethnic states that will be weak and therefore incapable of resisting Israel and Israeli regional dominance.

Although the discussion is theoretically embedded in the now obsolete framework of the "cold-war," it still offers a window into current US-Israeli theory and strategy in places such as Sudan, Lebanon, and Iraq.

I've pasted a few excerpts below and provided at the end a link to the full article (translated and introduced by Israel Shahak).

"...The Moslem Arab World is built like a temporary house of cards put together by foreigners (France and Britain in the Nineteen Twenties), without the wishes and desires of the inhabitants having been taken into account...."

"...Sudan, the most torn apart state in the Arab Moslem world today is built upon four groups hostile to each other, an Arab Moslem Sunni minority which rules over a majority of non-Arab Africans, Pagans, and Christians. ..."

"...Lebanon's total dissolution into five provinces serves as a precedent for the entire Arab world including Egypt, Syria, Iraq and the Arabian peninsula and is already following that track. The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unique areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel's primary target on the Eastern front in the long run, while the dissolution of the military power of those states serves as the primary short term target. Syria will fall apart, in accordance with its ethnic and religious structure, into several states such as in present day Lebanon, so that there will be a Shi'ite Alawi state along its coast, a Sunni state in the Aleppo area, another Sunni state in Damascus hostile to its northern neighbor, and the Druzes who will set up a state, maybe even in our Golan, and certainly in the Hauran and in northern Jordan. This state of affairs will be the guarantee for peace and security in the area in the long run, and that aim is already within our reach today.

Iraq, rich in oil on the one hand and internally torn on the other, is guaranteed as a candidate for Israel's targets. Its dissolution is even more important for us than that of Syria. Iraq is stronger than Syria. In the short run it is Iraqi power which constitutes the greatest threat to Israel. An Iraqi-Iranian war will tear Iraq apart and cause its downfall at home even before it is able to organize a struggle on a wide front against us. Every kind of inter-Arab confrontation will assist us in the short run and will shorten the way to the more important aim of breaking up Iraq into denominations as in Syria and in Lebanon. In Iraq, a division into provinces along ethnic/religious lines as in Syria during Ottoman times is possible. So, three (or more) states will exist around the three major cities: Basra, Baghdad and Mosul, and Shi'ite areas in the south will separate from the Sunni and Kurdish north. ..."

Against Empire offers twenty year old documents (not Israel official documents) abot today's Israeli African policy. Whatever that policy is, the central question is one of fact. Massacres by the government of Sudan and its militias against millions of innocent civilians. Civil Rights groups, the Organizaton of African Unity and the United Nations recognize mass murder. Why does Against Empire wish to cover up crimes against black people? osuievorcataobut by Isreli

I included a more recent article discussing this situation in Darfur specifically.

The document from the 1980s was included because it lays out more clearly than others in a fairly short space a coherent agenda that has been at the center of Zionist strategy from pre-'48 until today. It continues to be a relevant document because it has been consistently translated into action in succeeding years (e.g. the Iran Iraq war, openly acknowledged by the US policy planners as a strategy for destabilizing both governments; current US and Israeli attempts to create a civil-war in Iraq; US and Israeli involvement in Lebanon).

A more recent contribution would be "Clean Break: A Strategy for Securing the Realm." The policy paper--written for Netanyahu in 1999 by people who went on serve in prominent positions in the Bush administration--devotes considerable space to a strategy of playing Arab regimes against one another in an effort to "roll-back" "threats to Israel". http://www.iasps.org/strat1.htm

This same group of neocon strategists were centrally involved in the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, and their organization, the Institute for Advanced Strategic & Political Studies--with offices in Jerusalem and Washington DC--served as a policy think tank for US/Israeli neocon strategists. Here is what they say in one of their own newsletters about Sudan:

"The Friday, April 6, 2001 edition of the Washington Times carried a story about Washington area Jewish community groups distributing reading material to their members regarding the slavery and religious persecution of Christian and animist minorities in Sudan. More attention to this issue and the search for a proper end to such practices is required, but this is a positive step. ...

IASPS has been working on this behind the scenes with NGOs and government leaders and bureaucrats telling them the truth about what is happening to religious minorities in south Sudan for more than a year. In a civil war that has stretched on for more than 17 years more than 2 million people have been killed. Currently more than 4 million people have been displaced as a result of a systematic effort by the National Islamic Front (NIF) government in Khartoum to move indigenous populations away from the lucrative oil fields almost exclusively in the South and to effectively depopulate the Christian opposition.

In the coming weeks and months, IASPS will launch a new program called the Africa Initiative, which will focus on Africas strategic importance to the United States and how to develop the continent, and end atrocities like slavery and forced religious conversion in the 21st century." (http://www.iasps.org/nbn/nbn307.htm)

Stripping away the ideological language about the nature of the conflict, the newsletter acknowledges that IASPS was a central source of propaganda for the apparently decentralized campaign of NGOs calling for intervention in Sudan. At the same time, consistent with its core of "Realpolitik," IASPS organized a congressional hearing and released a strategic White Paper aimed at realigning US policy in Africa entitled: "African Oil: A Priority for U.S. National Security and African Development." Both the hearing and the paper concentrated a great deal of attention on "human rights abuses" and the "undemocratic regime in Sudan." The paper uses similar language about Venezuela, and emphasizes the need for US intervention against all such developments globally. (http://www.iasps.org/strategic/africawhitepaper.pdf)

The overall interests in Darfur were put quite succinctly by Anton Holberg in an article in May of 2004 ("US African Infrastructure: Sudan, the Darfur Conflict and its Role in the Battle over Oil"):

"...In Darfur there are no economic interests for the US or any other imperial powers. Such interests, and in this case interests increasingly related to Oil, certainly do exist from the Gulf of Guinea deep into Chad. Accordingly the US is engaged in installing a military infrastructure to serve itself and its oil interests in the entire Sudan Belt from the Atlantic to Lake Chad, for example through military advisors to local special forces who are supposed to secure the oil infrastructure not least of all against Islamic forces increasingly interested in the region.

Further east, the USA, supported by the German marines, have already planted themselves in Djibouti. Eritrea is also considered pro-American and, still further, an Israeli base on the continent. Israel is, for obvious reasons, always ready when it's a question of destabilizing an Arab country. The relationships between the USA and the regimes in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Chad and also Egypt are quite close. All that's missing in making the chain complete from the Atlantic to the Red Sea or Indian Ocean is Sudan."

apologies if I am repetitious. Fact: A war was launched against the black minority of Dafur by the Sudanese govt. The vicitims are hundreds of thousands of civilians. Thousands have fled to Chad which cannot support these desperate people. Sudan's war is directed at civilian. A war that uses rape as a weapon. The world is disgusted by this. This violence was not lauched by Zionists but by the Islamic Repubic of the Sudan. The USA govt if anyone has been soft on Sudan because of Sudan's pivotal role as an ally in the western v. islamist war.

FRIDAY 21st 11:00 state house

"kNOw GENOCIDE, a new multi-ethnic, non-partisan coalition formed to combat the ongoing denial of known cases of genocide, such as the Darfur"

BOSTON, MA This year the commemoration of the Armenian Genocide in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has taken an extraordinary turn given the genocide lawsuit in our state. April 21, 2006 will mark two important events at the Massachusetts State House. The first is the State House Armenian Genocide Commemoration Ceremony organized by Representatives Rachel Kaprielian and Peter Koutoujian and Senator Steven Tolman. It will take place at 11:00am in the Chamber of the House of Representatives and will be followed by an informal reception in the Great Hall of the State House.

The second event will take place outside the State House on Beacon Street at 12:45 pm immediately following the Commemoration Ceremony. It will mark the public inception of KNOW GENOCIDE, a new multi-ethnic, non-partisan coalition formed to combat the ongoing denial of known cases of genocide, such as the Darfur, Cambodian, Jewish, Rwandan, and the Armenian genocides. The coalition is grounded in the understanding that denial of genocide is the final stage of that crime. For the sake of human rights as well as the historical truth it will counter and expose attempts at genocide denial.

This focus did not come due to the presence of a crisis or problem, but rather resulted from policies adopted by Zionist organizations that were present in Darfur. They pretend they want to interfere due to the presence of some crisis or problem. The organizations are managed by Zionist circles that want to penetrate into Sudan through the Darfur gate after failing to do so through Southern Sudan. Those Zionist Israeli organizations found fertile soils for their objectives in the Darfur rebels. Israel had therefore entered Darfur and provided training for rebels and supported them through armament and finance to execute its policy in the Horn of Africa. State Minister of Education, leader in the General Center for Ansar Al Sunna Group Secretariat, Ustaz Mohamed Mustafa Abu Zaid states: Studies assert that Israel is trying to find a foothold in Sudan. Many studies indicate that Israel is heading westwards for Darfur. It is not surprising therefore that it comes under cover of international organizations, investment companies, through any diplomatic fronts or even through international peace keeping or monitoring forces. The reason for that being that to Israel, Sudan represents a depth for water resources. Sudan is one of the important countries along the Nile Basin. No wonder Israel seeks to arrive at this target, any time and by all means.
Imperialism and Genocide
20 Apr 2006
Simple theories can't encompass the complexity of the situation here. Yes, Western imperialists want to destabilize and dominate Sudan. They have supported rebel movements in Darfur which have provided the provocation for the government and militias to intensify the repression to genocidal levels. They are using the threat of intervention to pressure Sudan to make concessions in other areas (Southern Sudan etc.) and given the right combination of Sudanese atrocities and public movement may actually intervene militarily. This is similar to the strategies they used in Yugoslavia and Rwanda:
- exacerbate existing ethnic tensions and injustice with economic pressure (IMF structural adjustment) and military aid to rebels.
- provoke atrocities by nationalists/dominant ethnic group who want to keep their countries whole (and keep oppressed ethnic groups down)
- cry crocodile tears over the humanitarian crisis
- whip up public support for intervention

In the case of Rwanda the U.S. did not have to intervene directly, their proxies in the Tutsi based RPF were able to do the job with US aid. They took over Rwanda and are destabilizing the Congo. The lack of direct US military intervention to "stop" the genocide in Rwanda (a genocide they helped provoke) however is now used as an example of failure that must be avoided. "Remember Rwanda" they cry as they manipulate us to support the next "humanitarian" intervention.

So, yes, imperialism is knee deep in this mess, but why focus on Israel when the US and Europe are more heavily involved? Could it be that these "anti-zionists" want to take the blame off US and European imperialism? Do they expect us to believe that the US would be pure at heart if it weren't manipulated by those evil zionists?

If you don't see the hand of imperialism in pushing for intervention you are at risk of being duped, again. If you deny the real atrocities and genocide because it doesn't easily mesh with your anti-imperialist ideology you are at risk of loosing your humanity.

You built and beat a straw horse MK or is it NC (noam chomsky). No one said the US would suddenly turn into Sweden if US politics, financial institutions, military apparatuses, covert espionage , and media conglomerates weren’t filthy with Zionists.

"...why focus on Israel...."? You give your self away especially after such a concise process analysis and knowledge of patterns. How can you know and yet deny what is right before your eyes?

LOOK the exact same people who push for US support of the Jewish state in Palestine, the invasion of Iraq, the escalation against Persia were in Cambridge pushing hard for the military take over of Sudan. Do you get it now? We focus on them because they focus(target) Arab and African countries for military overthrow and annihilation.

Some times its like talking to a family of child abuse specialists with a serial child molester in it. They all now but refuse to admit it.
