After massive killing of civilians and war crimes against
the Palestinian people of the West Bank beginning March 29,
Israel is now amassing 30,000 troops to invade the Gaza
Strip. May 15 is the 54th anniversary of the Nakba - the
Palestinian National Tragedy of mass eviction from their
land forced by Israeli terrorism to create the state of
Israel, including the destruction of over 500 villages. On
this date Israel stands ready to continue the same brutal
terror attack in Gaza that it has just completed in Jenin:
the first reports of massive killings in Jenin came from an
Israeli officer, and an Israeli Army Sergeant said, "The
orders were to shoot at each house. _ The words on the radio
were to 'put a bullet in each window'." According to Human
Rights Watch, Israel committed war crimes and serious
violations of international humanitarian law, including
indiscriminate killing of civilians, failure to allow
civilians to escape before bombing, military attacks on
ambulances and medical personnel, and preventing access to
medical treatment. The IDF bulldozed buildings with people
in them. And now Israel stands poised to do it all again in
Gaza. The U.S. is backing these attacks with arms and
dollars and political cover. We must stand up and say: No
more!
