Coffee with Dennis Brutus
03 Jun 2002
Dennis Brutus speaks to MIT students and community members about the World Bank, direct action, Indymedia, meeting James Earl Jones, and more.
As part of the lead-up to the June 7th visit to MIT of James Wolfensohn, president of the World Bank (and the corresponding protest), Dennis Brutus came to MIT recently as part of a panel discussion on the world bank, organized by the MIT Technology & Culture Forum. The discussion is available here:
http://web.mit.edu/webcast/tac/tac28may02-16k.ram

Later several students and locals joined Dennis for discussion in the Coffeehouse for discussion and advice on
how to best confront Wolfensohn, as well as some of Dennis' wisdom regarding direct actions, NGOs, and more.
