The World's Cure Lies in the End of Pride
28 Jun 2002
Modified: 02 Jul 2002
do not let appriciation turn into pride- for it is in pride that we cloud oursleves from seeing the truth; that we are God and that when we let fear and anger motivate us we are acting against ourselves

turn away from pride and you will move towards the source of humility- which is truth- which is also the source of honour

it is dedication to truth that defines divinity
we are all going to be Jesus

let practicality towards love inspire
have much glory
Heaven truly is here at the end of pride- pride has ended because it has become obvious that it's source is childish distraction- and with pride gone all corruption becomes obvious
be not proud
be not afraid

it is done

Mind Absorbed in the Absolute...
01 Jul 2002
In the summer of 1994, I took a taxi from the Chennai airport to the Aurobindo Ashram/Auroville in Pondicherry (south India). I saw a yogi sitting next to a small shrine by the side of the main road. That afternoon, I read a story about him in the local newspaper. A reporter had interviewed him...the reporter asked him why he had spent the past fifteen years in that one spot, maintaining the small shrine and meditating. The yogi replied, "Mind absorbed in the Absolute, no place to go!"
I like that
