Announcement :: Organizing Sharing User Information With Homeland Security
13 May 2006
Modified: 12:41:44 PM
The popular organizing website was found to be collaborating with the Department of Homeland Security.

As part of the recent discovery over domestic spying, Riseup's mailing address is:
710 6th Ave South #1701
Seattle, WA 98104 USA

and is hosted at which is also called Peer 1 Network Inc. PEER1-BLK-08 (NET-69-90-0-0-1).

Peer 1 Network Incorporated has branch offices in Seattle and a main office in British Columbia. As part of the Echelon program, Peer 1 collated and delivered names, emails, and social network information on American radicals, anarchists and dissidents who engaged in nothing but free speech!

It collected this information under the guise of server management in Canada and then passed the information to the Department of Homeland Security in Washington State. Now it is demanding small sum payments for what was once a free service. As a result, members of groups are now being targetted and harassed!

This must not stand.

Where is your evidence?

I'm someone else posting as "@" and I'm an anarchist. There is at least one other person posting here as "@" who seems to be a cop. I don't know which category you belong to.

That said, what is your proof? If it is true, lay it out for all to see. If you have no proof, then you're working for the other side.
We already have the evidence!

That's why we posted it!

It's just like the pigs to violate security culture and ask us to spill our guts about which of our comrades were compromised!
