Not In Our Name - "LET IT NOT BE SAID that people in the United States did nothing when their government declared a war without limit and instituted stark new measures of repression".
A statement of conscience against war and repression with many prominent signatories appeared in the New York Times on September 19th. The challenge now is to spread this message across all the country.

Full statement, more info and a list of signatories at -

Iraqi war WON'T solve that country's problem. Either will removing Saddam. Read, my friends. You will know that there's been ethnic clashes between many different cultures for many thousands of years. What do you think will happen if Saddam is killed or captured? Everyone will start killing each other. What a dumb move...
As for "weapons of mass destruction"? The senior arms inspector, that was from the United States, claims there was no such weapons. This war will be over DUBYA's daddy...And revenge. Using young AMERICAN soldiers for a personal vendetta. (I'm glad I did my time in the Army!...)There is NO sane, sensible answer...to the loonacy of the BUSH ADMINISTRATION. Let the economy, american people go down the sewer. While spending social security on a personal war...DUMB!
