unable to watch (english) |

I was unable to watch this under windoze98.
I tried saving it, then opening it with
Media Player, which told me it was unable to
find a suitable decompressor. This happened
regardless of whether I renamed it with a
suffix of .mov or .qt
Anyone have any pointers, or can someone convert
this to a more accessable format?
thanks |

Apple Quicktime clip, WAY underlit, a blur (english) |

The artice's video is a Quicktime, plays OK when renamed .mov. But it's so underlit, all you see is a vague outline of a shirt in a wash of shadows. Plus some bright fluorescent lamp outlines. At least, that's how it played with my Apple Quicktime which has no brightness adjustment.
I wonder if Friedman got pied Before going on "the connection" on wbur radio on Friday. The program host was disgustingly fawning and reverential toward the award-winning neoliberal, imperialist, zionist pundit.
In the few minutes that I heard (radio), Friedman trotted out his lame nonsense about "3rd World Ms-Dos versus Free World Windows" and pontificated about the inferiority of the Arab and Muslim world.
This guy is a five hundered pound pundit. So, like it
says below, if you're "seeking guidance about forces [you] understand but dimly" maybe Friedman's propaganda can help.
from www.roycecarlton.com/speakers/friedman_news.htm
'Congratulations to Thomas Friedman for winning the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Distinguished Commentary...'
'Thomas Friedman was just awarded his third Pulitzer Prize (his first as an Op-Ed page columnist) for "his clarity of vision, based on extensive reporting, in commenting on the worldwide impact of the terrorist threat." His other Pulitzers were in 1983 and 1988 for international reporting.'
'A full-page advertisement in the April 9, 2002 issue of The New York Times says this of Mr. Friedman's award-winning work:'
"In the wake of the terrorist attacks, readers were angry, frightened and confused, seeking not only consolation but also guidance about forces they understood but dimly. Mr. Friedman's Op-Ed page commentary provided the clarifying, evenhanded assessments that were so urgently needed. .. " ' |
