Alan Dershowitz -- Speaking in Cambridge
Cambridge Forum
3 Church Street
Cambridge, MA 02138
"Bringing People together to share baked goods . . ."

Annoying criminal defense attorney Alan Dershowitz discusses, "Why Terrorism Works" at Cambridge Forum, Wednesday, December 4th, 7:30 p.m. at First Parish, 3 Church Street, Harvard Square, in Cambridge.

A book-signing will follow!!

Since Sept 11th, the corporate media & the Bush Administration have tried to scare the citizenry with the specter of terrorism. It is the fuel for patriotism, for justifying pre-emptive war strategies, for increasing so-called "national security". It has also motivated dastardly practices by our government in detaining and interrogating suspected "terrorists". How did the United States become so vulnerable to this fear-mongering? What can we do to stop these fear-pimps?

In his contrived new book, Alan Dershowitz tackles none of these issues. He argues an utterly simplistic hardline (a-la Sharon/Israel) arguement. Among his flaccid remedies are:

"zero tolerance" for responding to "terrorist" demands;
national ID cards;
legal torture;
and extrajudicial executions

Cambridge Forums are free and open to the public. Open
discussion follows speaker presentation.

your security culture... (english)

...needs a little work.
this is a public forum, likely trolled by all sorts of security knuckleheads, not your affinity group's meeting spot.
if anyone was planning anything, it's now compromised.

maybe we can hope that he will catch a whiff of well-deserved creme filling, and cancel out of fear that his suit would be stained...
