directions are at the bottom of this email.

We know that many people have work or school early in the morning. We've made an attempt to start the event as early as possible so that you can go into work a little late or make your first morning class. Please make every effort to be there! It's a small price to pay for our rights and those of the animals inside HLS!

A Summary History of the Indictments:
Huntingdon Life Sciences is one of the world's largest and most notorious animal testing labs. It is also currently being brought to its knees by animal rights activists determined to close it down. For years they've protested against the lab's business affiliates, driving them away from HLS and pulling the lab's support structure out from underneath it. For months in Boston there has been a strong campaign against HLS as activists protested against Marsh Inc., the insurance agency for HLS. During this time there were no arrests made by police or private security on the premesis at these events. However, Attoney General Tom Reilly and Assistant Attorney General Philip J. McGovern now see fit to retroactively pursue indictments for crimes including attempted extortion and conspiracy.

Anyone who believes in the right to free speech should be ready for action! Get friends, family, and colleagues involved. HLS would love to believe that a few indictments and repression of speech can hold back the tide of public opinion that is quickly turning against them. How wrong they are. We need to keep the momentum going and show them that activism in Boston is not on the out, in fact it's just getting started!
