Sick of sitting around waiting for the next anti-war protest?
30 May 2006
Here are some things you can do -- start preaching beyond the choir!
At an undisclosed, top secret morning launch, 26 May 2005, Kommandos of all stripe and message were sporadically deployed in an urgent action in the War Against War. If you notice any troop movement in your area, report all action in a comment to this post:

Toy soldiers? Where do you get them? Do you pay for them?
This is pathetic.
nope, this is creative

even better would be little twin towers everywhere telling people that they were blown up deliberately by bushco and silverstein.
Send A Greeting to the Troops

While I am waiting for the next antiwar demo, I am writing encouraging letters to the heroic men and women who serve us in Iraq. Their courage makes us talkers look like the wimps we are compared with them. These are good folks. Whether you agree with the war or not, these poeple undergo amazing risks and are doing some fine things in civilian projects as well as protecting the populace from Islamist gangsters.

Also, you can visit hospitals and tell injured soldiers that you admire their courage. Talk to them about music, what's going on culturally.

Keep politics out of it. Have some taste.

Amen. I'm going to give every soldier coming back from Iraq a hug and a copy of Loose Change. Then, over a beer I'll buy them, we'll discuss how we're going to a) prosecute the people who both orchestrated 9-11 lied them into their personal hell, b) raise taxes on the rich to make sure they are well-cared for into their old age, and c) identify the folks who helped the liars keep the truth hidden from the american people for so long. The soldiers, who are as brave as they have been misled, will thank me for not lying to them like everyone else has. they will not be terribly shocked to find out that the same rats who lied their limbs into oblivion also dropped two huge buildings on hundreds of rescue workers and firefighters. they will join the movement for truth and reparations against people like Bush and Wolf Blitzer and Judith Miller. They will help us also to get to the bottom of who is and is not a good ally to the U.S. and help us redistribute aid from undeserving bastards abroad to deserving veterans at home. Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah--SEMPER FI, MOTHERFUCKERS. Think you know America? Stay tuned, cause this shit's about to get heavy, punks.
Don't Welsh, GI Joe

Hey if you're buying GI, I don't care if you want to give your pitch to a veteran. They may have a different opinion and maybe you will listen to them. They've been there.

Also, I agree we are not paying these folks enough for the aggravation caused by fighting in a lousy (and it is) urban guerilla war. But, I have bad news for you. If you "raise taxes" on the rich, you won't have enough dough to buy more than a few Busch's when our guys deserve some Sam Adams or better.

Read up on where the big bucks are. Also, you wanna keep all those govt welfare programs like medicaid, you're gonna be borrowing cause the real Gis aren't about to be payng higher taxes proposed by Hilary or Kerry. so the dough will be borrowed, and the financiers on Wall St will laugh as interest rates go up and they make yet another killing.

Ya can't win GI Joe; WWII is over and you're just GI Schmo.
