On Sunday, March 9 at 8pm, FX will be showing an original movie entitled
"The Pentagon Papers" which documents the true story of Daniel
Ellsberg and the release of the 7000 page classified Department of Defense
document during the Vietnam war.
The story of Ellsberg is an important story of a committed Pentagon
official turned whistleblower, and it is argued that the release of the
Pentagon Papers played a significant role in bringing the Vietnam war
to an end, not to mentionthe Nixon presidency.
The story of Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers is very relevant today for
anti-war activists and the timely release of this movie could provide
many opportunities to widen the debate on the issues of government secrecy
and media complicity in driving the nation towards war.

just do't add up to apples or oranges given the events
of 9/11 here in the USA.
Also, while hopping on the NamExperience/War..
why aren't you marching for those in VN who now truely
suffer after the communist take over, as well as IRAQ
citizens, who, by genocide, have been systematically
killed and continue to be killed?

A Vet group on your list is not impressive seeing there
were these critters called "ducks" by the PoW's in Viet
Nams camps.. they sold out their brothers in arms for
favors.
