Property don't have feelings. People are being killed in our name. Do whatever it takes.

:You are absolutely right. (english)

The English have set the example for people who are serious about taking risks for those that Bush is killing now in Iraq, they have broken into the military bases and the airfields and have destroyed planes. The brave British are also stopping Commercial and military traffic.

A demonstration that just says,"Gee! Look at our unhappy signs! Won't these make you reconsider killing all those people?" They don't do much when the killing starts AND it HAS started. All these Swine care for is PROPERTY and if Property is destroyed. That gets them exited enough to consider that enough people are upset.
I added a comment agreeing -it wasn'tPrinted (english)

I added a comment agreeing with the sense and seriousness of what you said. I waited four minutes after going back and reloading - and they didn't print it.

But the Foreign sites print your stuff right away. I guess this is because the American computer industry has always been behind the Europeans - right ? ? Wrong. You know why it doesn't print in Boston.... a lot of us know why.

They may put it back up - about a half hour later if they think that you are complaining that it is not up. So maybe this will post - maybe not. Maybe both will - maybe none.
Property destruction IS Violence (english)
18 Mar 2003
Property destruction is, of course, violence.

Unless you believe bombs destroying Iraqi railroads, runways, electic utilities, etc. is not violence.

Where do you people get your funny ideas anyway?
Yes and no (english)

Depends somewhat on the laws and mores of the jurisdiction in which you live. Destruction of the property itself isn't violence, but doing so MAY constitute a declaration of willingness to engage in violence with the owner of that property -- again depending upon your jurisdiction.

OK, this is the Boston site, it's Massachusetts. HERE by law and custom you may destroy property and the owner must stand by and wait for the police to arrive, etc. If the owner of the property choses to defend their property from you they would be considered to have "started the violence".

But in some other places in this country, not. There by local law and custom the property owner has the choice of defending their property and using whatever force was required to stop you. And should they make that choice YOU and not they would be considered to have "started the violence". In effect, they are "allowed" to consider your being violent to their property "right in front of them" as the beginning of an attack on their persons.

I raise this point only to make clear something that (we) proponents of non-violence all too frequently forget. We only control our own actions. We can refrain from being violent ourselves, but that does no confer upon us some right to a non-violent reponse from others. That's THEIR choice to make, whether they will choose to add to the violence of the world or refrain from doing so.
