Boston IndyMedia is compromised. (english)

Modified: 19 Mar 2003
What other explanation can there be for the nature of the material that is permitted on Boston IndyMedia? Antiwar articles and annoucements are deleted while Zionist propaganda is preserved.
We should reject Boston IndyMedia until Boston IndyMedia does some serious house cleaning. Pulling this pro-war, pro-Zionist act of treason against the antiwar movement at the exact moment when need to be unified is unforgiveable. Is there anything in IndyMedia's charter that would enable it's users to forcibly remove these infiltrators? If there is, then such actions should be executed.

Yes, we know there is a problem with lots of right-wing spam on the newswire. We're trying to figure out what to do about. Technically, we can hide it, but it's actually time-consuming to do so, especially when there's lots of it--and we actually have very few volunteers with very little time on their hands.

As for the hiding of anti-war articles, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Sometimes when you click on an article, you may get "no story to tell yet". That is a glitch in the programming that our tech team hasn't been able to solve yet. If you draw our attention to it (see the "about us" link near the top of the page), we can try to fix it individually.
