mixing messages (english)
24 Mar 2003
Modified: 25 Mar 2003
i think focus has got to change
just throwing this out -- i think the anti-war message is getting mixed because people don't realize that by not supporting bush we ARE supporting saddam. i've not met anyone that truly supports saddam -- it's clear he's a monster. i suggest that anti-war people make it clear that not only is war bad, but so too is saddam.

FINALLY - Some one with a brain.

Other adjustments: Stop knocking the workoing folks...
Stop knocking the Vets & Troops of the USA. You are
doing your thing - marching in protest - cops are doing
thier job and they are NOT the rulling class.. to nail
corporations is one thing - but to nail the avrage guy is another.

You need no one to divide and conquer - th tack of the
left does the job well enough.

Here is one of the NONO pics from Iraq above. Note how the
Iraqi is grinning, also note how the grunts trowsers are open.

We hear there is dismemberment going on of all KIA's the
Iraqi's can get their hands on.. of the genitals.

SADDAM needs to hear you do NOT support HIM. Period.
He neds to hear HE nor any one like him will ever take
over our nation. And thats a fact Jack.

Just an Indian

Power of the Model (english)
24 Mar 2003

It does show the power of the propagnda model...

Wow (according to one corporate news source) it appears that "these people" can "oppose Saddam" and at the same time oppose the U.S. invasion of Iraq. (Some of them may have also have respect for international law...). But of course such media can't mention these things or
Geneva Convention followed by all (Michael Ratner---->http://www.webactive.com/pacifica/demnow/dn20030324.html_ and as you probably know much more.

Sorry to include this draft about comment by Senator Kerry stressing the point to "support troops" as if people protesting the U.S. invasion can't do both.

There's also more issues to think about all over the world and actions: Again DN! - listen to the top of the show the whirlwind of actions around the world or www.fsrn.org today http://www.fsrn.org/news/20030324_news.html (Students and others I assume or The Radical Red in India, during Headlines two actions in Hartfort VT, IRS buidling appropriately enough a 700 Billion dollar ten-year tax "cut" is proposd, 1Billion "aid" to Israel and forgot how much to Jordan plus loands, and $400,000,000 to that other country, what was it's name?

And at United Technologies home of Blackhawk..

This is out of date from the Independnet Radio link reference that has a detailed listing but again out-of-date. I still recall in elemnentary school, James, "don't you hve homework you can be doing during this time?" It's already done! And then the letters home about James disrupting the class. Point if one, I could send to email list but would be willing to include updates that I know about as I have in limited listing and send them over but.. http://lynx.dac.neu.edu/j/jzappia/airwavewebflyer.htm
(the only one I am not certain about is Martin V. who I know had reduced his Wednesday/Thursday but I heard (I think ) last Thursday! 'Keep the rabble active...

What was that last message, that long collection of links and letters to Mr Albert whoever that is?

Can people have the DECENCY to type their OWN comments, not copy tons of crap out of context?

Anyway I want to say I agree hugely with MicMac and dougie -- that an anti-war movement should clearly be voicing that we hate Saddam and want him out of power, while we also oppose this current war.

Then we have the burden to explain how and why we oppose both Saddam and this war. I think this burden is healthy because it will force us to explain ourselves, and it will reveal the deeper problems with the system we live in, and the deeper hypocrisy of the U.S. government and the sordid history of its involvement with Iraq and other horrible regimes. Not to mention, who is controlling this government and leading it to war, and why...
