Cram the Square! Saturday, 12:00 until 8:00 (or whenever you want to). (english)

Modified: 11 Oct 2003
Our weekly dissent fest in Harvard Square continues this Saturday.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing movement of disorganized, random opponents of fascism from all political stripes. So far we've been joined by anarchists, communists, liberals, and greens. Our dissenting arms are open to the full range of anti-Regime belief and expression (yes, we're even open to libertarians and anti-Bush Republicans). Come join us and express your dissent as you see fit. There are no rules. There are no leaders. There are no mailing lists, meetings, or organizational charts. There is no dress code. There is no political correctness.

Come to Harvard Square, stand up like the rebel you are, and speak out against the regime!

Past weeks have included free poster board and markers for making signs (which will be available this week too), free blue spray-on hair coloring for shocking your parents and overlords, free fabric markers for writing on your clothes, free deception dollars, objects with images of Bush on which to express your anger, strange and humorous signs and bumper stickers, PsyOps stickers, leaflets, and angry Republicans barking like rabid dogs only to be laughed at.

If you have an organization or an event to advertise, this is an opportunity to pass out leaflets or leave them next to the many other available leaflets.

Some ideas for those willing to answer the call:

(1) We could use sidewalk chalk. There are dozens of future anarchists hanging out in the Pit. Given them something to write with.

(2) We could use more colored spray-on hair-dye.

(3) Bring body paint if you want to find people to paint, you never know...

(4) Bring revolutionary CDs and tapes. Someone might just be happy to pop them into a boom box.

(5) Bring silly string to spray on silly people.

While the official hours are 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM, we known not to follow rules and often arrive at 2:00 PM and stick around until the Republicans become too drunk to control themselves (i.e. around 9:30 PM).

It's a blast. Join us! Bring a friend. Bring a Republican to bash.

Long live the Revolution!
Hasta la victoria siempre!
