Israeli’s racist UN resolution (english)
11 Nov 2003
Modified: 12 Nov 2003
This week, Israel introduced a resolution in a UN General Assembly committee calling for the condemnation of “Palestinian attacks on Israeli Children.”
Who ever said that Sharon does not have a sense of humor. For the first time ever in 25 years Israel has introduced a resolution in a UN General Assembly committee. This calls for the condemnation of “Palestinian attacks on Israeli Children.”

Data from B’tselem, the Israeli human rights group, shows that since the beginning of the first Intifada on December 9, 1987 through July 20, 2003, most of the children killed in that Mideast conflicts have been Palestinians. The killing ratio of the war on children children is about 7 to 1. With 688 Palestinian children being killed by the Israelis, and 97 Israeli children being killed by the Palestinians.

This Israeli resolution ignores the much greater targeting of children by the murderous IDF. Only a complete racist can take such a resolution seriously. Perhaps the Israelis should go another 25 years before presenting another such resolution.

Are you for real?

Does it mean anything that you can't even capitalize the word Palestinian?

Does it mean anything to you that most of the killing of all children is done by the Israelis?

Do you think that Palestinian lives are not equal to Jewish lives?

Take another look at the text that I wrote. The number of Israeli children killed is include and not forgotten.

The Israeli diplomatic corp is finally showing some brains. By creating a mirror resolution to what the Egyptians created the Israelis are showing that the arab world and their oil cusomers are not interested in an effort to stop the arabs from planning and killing Jewish children.

We should not be suprised that the arab terrorist leadership care nothing for the lives of Jewish children. The arabs often send out their childrn with guns in their hands to attack the Jews with predictable results.

The Palestinians have asked that a U.N. committee reject a resolution calling for the protection of Israeli children victimized by Palestinian terrorism, saying the document is political and insensitive.

"This is an anti-Palestinian resolution much more than it is a pro-Israeli children resolution," the Palestinian U.N. observer Nasser Al-Kidwa said Monday.

Israel circulated the draft last week -- the first resolution it has introduced since 1976.

Ariel Milo, the spokesman for Israel's U.N. Mission, said the vote on the draft will reveal whether the General Assembly "thinks that the lives of Israeli children are less important than those of Palestinian children."

The Israeli draft mirrors a resolution adopted by the General Assembly last year by a large majority on the plight of Palestinian children affected by more than three years of conflict in the region.

Egypt submitted a similar draft two weeks ago for the current session of the General Assembly, and it was approved by the committee dealing with social and humanitarian issues. The same committee was expected to take up the Israeli draft on Wednesday or Thursday.

Al-Kidwa told reporters the Palestinians "were not amused" at having the format of their resolution copied.

For years, Israel has refused to take seriously the numerous resolutions Arab states sponsor annually, which almost always condemn Israel's actions against the Palestinians while making little, if any, mention of Palestinian attacks against Jews.
