story hidden - Pilot Rule Change in June 2001 (english)
20 Nov 2003
Modified: 10:04:47 PM
strange coincidence: an old rule from 1961 allowed pilots to carry small arms, but it was suddenly rescinded in June 2001, just weeks before John Ashcroft stopped flying commercial airliners...
an article about the SUDDEN CHANGE in a 40 year old law in June 2001, which was posted on several imc sites earlier today was removed.

perhaps it is not considered newsworthy.

however, consider this:

1) a law which allowed pilots to carry small arms for self defense existed since 1961. for forty years nobody paid much attention to it, but SUDDENLY, in June 2001, the law was rescinded just TWO MONTHS BEFORE the 9-11 attacks.

that means that the FAA OUT OF THE BLUE made sure that no pilot had even a CHANCE of being armed on September 11th.

2) at the SAME TIME, John Ashcroft was being breifed by the FBI, and the following month, it was announced that he would no longer take commercial flights.

Think about it...

Commerical Pilots are denied the ability to carry a weapon, while Ashcroft decides the risk of a hijacking or attack is too great to being flying a commercial flight...

Why did these happen within a few weeks of one another, when the FAA rule had been laying around un-noticed since the Cuban Missile Crisis?

just curious...

So I guess this proves that Ashcroft didnt know which planes and when they would be hijaked because otherwise he could of flown any day before sept 11.
