BAAM will be hosting workshops and discussions on building anarchist collectives and community organizing, Sunday, October 22nd, 6pm, at the Lucy Parsons Center

At the beginning of September, BAAM Boston put out a call for the formation of neighborhood anarchist collectives in the Boston area. (http://www.thestudentunderground.org/article.php?id=187&issue=57) The response we have received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have been deeply inspired by the formation of collectives from Cape Cod to Somerville, and individuals and small groups scattered all across Massachusetts asking for help in starting collectives.

Due to this outburst of anti-authoritarian organizing and activity, as well as appeals for help from interested, but isolated, comrades, BAAM decided to organize a series of workshops on building collectives. These workshops will be a place for long-standing collectives, new ones and collectives in formation to share their experiences and suggestions, network, and discuss. They are also a place for individuals and small groups looking to start organizing collectives, or to get involved with existing ones, to come get ideas and suggestions.

There will also be discussions on how anarchist and anti-authoritarian collectives can connect to the struggles currently being fought in their neighborhoods and workplaces. We will have activists experienced in community organizing leading these workshops. We will send out a schedule with a list of speakers and workshop leaders this week.

We hope that our collectives can continue to grow and to connect with each other, while we find our roots in our neighborhoods. In doing so, we aim to spread the seeds of revolutionary change and nourish the growth of autonomous, community-based resistance to the brutal offenses of the authoritarian and capitalist machines.
in love and solidarity, and towards our impending liberation

Anarchists, please answer me this question:
15 Oct 2006
What is "community building?" You are always using this phrase and never seem to explain it. I mean, I know its the hip new thing to be doing, so let this poor old Marxist in on your secret, please. Are you building houses? Paving streets? Laying sewer pipe? Or are you just sitting around and bullshitting like anarchists always do?

Hugs and kisses,
Leon Trotsky

Further proof that anarchists are good little stalinists: you changed the title rather than answer my question. Uncle Joe would be proud.
who changed the title

who changed the title? not I (the author of this article). We didnt respnd to you because your an authoritarian troll. Why dont you try organizing something instead of harasing anarchists?
Remember Kronstadt?

While Trotsky, A.K.A is some psuedo-marxist from "working class emancipation", a virulent racist sect, at least the man he's impersonating helped us bury you dumb shit anarchists at Kronstdadt. Remember Kronstdadt? we'll massacre you and all your rich friends (again).
