Cape Wind reaches new heights in privatization
15 Oct 2006

Cape Wind , the right project in the WRONG place, always sucked. Now it's even worse.

Today we learned from the Globe that Cape Wind's corporate privatization of the commons has reached new heights. Their proposed trashing of Nantucket Sound with industrial wind development will be 23 feet taller than originally proposed. This means more visibility and probably more juice for the corporados to cash in on.

The corporate artist's rendition of what it will look like from OB is most likely inaccurate. Expect the worse.

Cape Wind , the right project in the WRONG place, always sucked. Now it's even worse. Put those suckers on land where it's already scewed up. How about on Deer Island?
