Would you want YOUR children working on a cocoa farm?

This Mother's Day (Sunday, May 13), mothers and consumers will hold a rally at noon at Godiva Chocolatier in Faneuil Hall (1 South Market Bldg., Boston, MA 02109) to protest child labor on cocoa farms in the Ivory Coast which produce for Godiva.

Thousands of children in West Africa, especially the Ivory Coast, are forced to labor in the production of cocoa, the primary ingredient in chocolate. These children labor for long, punishing hours, using dangerous tools and face frequent exposure to dangerous pesticides as they travel great distances in the grueling heat. Those who labor as slaves must also suffer frequent beatings and other cruel treatment.

Bring your family to the rally on Sunday to tell Godiva: MOTHERS WILL NOT TOLERATE CHILD LABOR!

Mother's Day Rally: Sunday May 13, 2007
Noon - 1:30PM
