Socialist Alternative is a social-democratic outfit distinguished by its fawning support for the armed enforcers of racist bourgeois rule. While genuine revolutionary socialists, i.e. Trotskyists, recognize that cops and prison guards are not workers but the mailed fist of capitalist law and order who should be expelled from the unions, the Taaffeite phony-socialists are eager to win better pay and benefits for these enemies of the organized workers movement. See their recent glowing coverage of a police march in London that was headed, unsurprisingly, by a representative of the British Nationalist Party (BNP), England's own fascists! http://www.socialistparty.org.uk/articles/3694
