After four years of a President who was handed the office by the Supreme Court and the Electoral College without securing even 48% of the popular vote, progressives are touting the "Anybody But Bush" campaign. Millions of dollars and countless hours of people's energy is being expended to elect "Anybody But Bush". Could this energy be better spent?

I have a better motto than "anybody but Bush". My motto is "first Kerry, then real change". I know that Kerry is not much better, or should I say he's marginally less bad than Bush. But I think that he will slow down the trend towards imprisoning people with alternative views. This will leave you somewhat more freedom to do whatever it is that you can to change the world for the better.
