Hear Teresa Gutierrez, John Parker & LeiLaniDowell speak on:
Will voting for Kerry or Bush stopimperialist wars abroad & racism& rising poverty at home?
Workers, the poor, people of color, women, the lesbian/gay/bi/trans community, immi-grants, youths and students, rank-and-filesoldiers, prisoners, and all who areoppressed need their own party that fightsfor them and truly represents the interests.
The campaign is spreading the word thatonly through the struggle for socialism canthere be a world where people's needscome before capitalist greed. |

Uhm, Workers World Party has some of the worst politics imaginable. They are a Stalinist group that split from the Socialist Workers Party because those who would become the WWP supported Mao and Soviet Intervention in Hungary in 1956.
From an article in the weekly dig some months ago about the WWP front of a front ANSWER:
"The WWP puts out a newspaper in which its politics are made clear: WWP defends Slobodan Milosevic and supports North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il; it denies the massacre in Tienanmen Square, asserting no students were killed; it even supports Saddam Hussein because he is anti-imperialist. Genocidal dictators can count on WWP. But I bet protesters might not be so quick to count on organizers who support Saddam, since most anti-war folks don’t support Hussein or a US occupation but rather the Iraqi people and their right to determine how they live their lives."
These people are disturbed in the head, don't get fooled by their pleasant sounding rhetoric.

You wrote: "Workers, the poor, people of color, women, the lesbian/gay/bi/trans community, immigrants, youths and students, rank-and-filesoldiers, prisoners, and all who are oppressed need their own party..."
Now no one can contradict me when I said before that this is a place for socialists to gather or that socialists DO gather together the communists, the gays, the "anti-racists", the transexuals, and the illegal aliens into an anti- party.
What about the unoppressed, self-employed, straight persons over age 25, of no color, who keep their original genitalia? The above article implies that we are somehow not the right idea. If that is true then why does it take so many other fringe groups rolled into a burrito to form the anti-group? Why so many? Are we somehow more efficient than you are? More concentrated in form?
And why does the Indy treasurer think that transforming America into a socialist state is a good idea? Isn't that a contradiction in terms? To be the exchequer of the socialist movement? |
