Alan Lipton / Protest Warriors

Is this the same Alan Lipton?

Alan Lipton / Protest Warriors

Alan Lipton is the founder of the "Protest Warriors."  His name is also associated with DARPA.  I'm not sure whether this is the same Alan Lipton, so I'm asking those out there with the ability to find out to investigate this.  Here is some info on DARPA's Alan Lipton:

DARPA Develops Advanced Night Vision Devices (Click and scroll down to last article)

>>"This second award from DARPA is a terrific validation of the expertise of our scientists," said Alan Lipton, chief technology officer of objective. "A successful project will demonstrate the world's most advanced night-time video surveillance system." ObjectVideo won a Phase I grant of $100,000 last year.<<

Here's a link to the company: ObjectVideo

The company is located in Reston, Virgina.  Reston has been the source of many cyber attacks against leftist websites.

Here is some very interesting info about this Alan Lipton:

President Bush Reviews Demonstration of ObjectVideo's Intelligent Video Surveillance Software in Anti-Terror Scenario During Broadband Initiative Event

"ObjectVideo's software products are ObjectVideo VEW, now in its third commercial release, and ObjectVideo Forensics. ObjectVideo VEW 2.0 works with existing security infrastructures and allows users to define rules so that they can detect, classify and track potential threats to their environments - in real time. ObjectVideo Forensics works with VEW 2.0 to provide rapid analysis of collected video, allowing users to identify patterns and trends that can help them to anticipate and effectively deny future security threats. Notably, ObjectVideo software is designed to be used by the security professional, and can easily be up-and-running quickly."
